My name is Ashley Greene and I am an Associate Broker with Rangeley Realty.

I grew up in Auburn, ME in a home that my dad built from the ground up. He taught me and brother a lot about the importance of homeownership from a young age and those lessons have made a special impact on my career in real estate. After graduating from Edward Little High School, I attended the University of Southern Maine where I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Biochemistry. Before, during and after college, I worked as a nanny for 6+ years and accumulated roughly 10 years of experience working in restaurants as a server. With my degree, I worked as a scientist building ELISA test kits at Envirologix and worked as an Inside Sales Representative at IDEXX.  Being a nanny was definitely the highlight of my early working years, especially my time spent as an Au Pair in Australia before finishing my degree.

Despite having accomplished my dream of becoming a scientist, I struggled to find a career using my degree that was a good fit for my lifestyle. So I decided to take an entirely different path and chose to pursue real estate. I have come to find that a lot of the qualities needed to be a good scientist, nanny and server all play a critical role in being a good real estate agent. I came equipped with excellent research skills and attention to detail, a dedication to customer service, and if I can handle the emotional rollercoaster of being responsible for someone’s children, then I can definitely handle being a part of the sale of someone’s home, which sometimes comes with quite a bit of emotion.

My parents bought their first camp up in Rangeley when I was very young and passed their love of the area onto me. I made the decision to move here full time back in 2020 and haven’t looked back since.

My two dogs, Roscoe and Charley, do a good job of filling the majority of my free time. But I also like to give as much time as I can back to the community. I’m proud to have volunteered two summer’s in a row with the Junior Guides program in Oquossoc, and plan to continue my involvement. I am a board member with the Rangeley Chamber of Commerce and attend/help with many of the wonderful events that the Chamber organizes.

Everything I do, I do with a positive attitude, professionalism and transparency. I hold myself to a high standard but make sure that I maintain a good sense of humor for perspective. I love a good challenge and jump at new opportunities, and working in real estate has been a never ending source of both. Couldn’t be happier to be where I am, doing what I do, surrounded by my favorite mountains and lakes.
